At Specialist Vehicles in Plymouth, we understand the necessity of having to keep your vehicle in the best possible condition that it can be. We offer a great range of services from general to car make/model specific servicing. Our team of technicians are experienced and capable of working on all types of vehicles.

Why is regular servicing important?

With regular servicing, you can reduce the likelihood of breakdowns as minor issues can be identified early on before they become a bigger issue. This can potentially save you money that would have otherwise been spent on repairs as well. While having your car serviced more than once a year is something you’re encouraged to do, it might not always be possible to do it when considering the cost.

As a condition of your vehicle’s manufacturer’s warranty, you are responsible for properly using, maintaining and caring for your vehicle, as outlined in your owner’s handbook. You must also retain copies of all maintenance records & receipts, as these must be provided on request. Failure to do so can result in denial of warranty repairs.

What is a Service Plan?

We can provide a great Service Plan that allows you to spread the cost of your servicing over a number of years via monthly instalments. There is also the option to pay for your servicing plan upfront.

What is included?

Your Service Plan covers the cost of your scheduled motor servicing, covering parts and labour. It excludes anything not listed in the scheduled service.

With our Service Plan, you can receive a number of benefits including:

  • Free diagnosis and road test
  • Free bulb replacement
  • Free vehicle safety checks including fluid and oil top-ups
  • 10% off additional work

What if I wish to cancel?

If your circumstances change and you wish to cancel your plan, you can do. Simply call us with your policy details. A refund of the balance of your account will be given.

Are the servicing costs fixed?

Yes. All future costs are calculated at today’s prices, meaning your future car servicing will be free from inflation for the period of the Service Plan. (Note if vehicle mileage increases, this can result in the monthly direct debit requiring alteration or a top-up cost at the point of service).

How do I take out a Service Plan?

Just speak to a member of staff or call us and we will be happy to prepare a personal quotation for you.

What if my mileage increases?

Don’t worry. Just call us to arrange for an amendment to your monthly direct debit. Alternatively, you will be required to pay a top-up, at your next service.

Is the plan transferrable?

If you change your vehicle then any unused payments can be transferred from your old Service Plan to a new one. Simply contact us to arrange a plan transfer.
